Dr. Paul Earley, Past President of FSPHP and Emeritus Medical Director of the Georgia Professional Health Program, spoke at the Emory’s Office of Well-Being (EmWELL) Physicians Dinner & Dialogue event alongside Dr. Stefanie Simmons, Chief Medical Officer of the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, and Dr. Dhaval Desai, co-chair of the EmWELL Physician Workgroup and author of "Burning Out the COVID Front Lines." CNN correspondent Nick Valencia facilitated the discussion. The event highlighted the pressing need to create environments where healthcare workers feel supported, valued, and encouraged to seek mental health care when needed.
