Dr. Michael Baron Addresses Misinformation about PHPs in STAT Article

Dr. Michael Baron, FSPHP President and Medical Director of the Tennessee Medical Foundation Physician Health Program, responded to a December 11th article published by STAT News that misrepresented the effectiveness of PHPs and created a dangerous narrative that undermines trust in these essential programs. Dr. Baron's letter to the editor, published by STAT News on December 21st, counters the misleading information presented in the article and shifts the narrative toward a fact-based account of PHPs and their outcomes.

FSPHP Joins ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare Coalition

Dr. Chris Bundy and Linda Bresnahan have been invited to join the ALL IN: Wellbeing First for Healthcare coalition.  The coalition includes leading healthcare organizations committed to:

  1. Advancing a state where the well-being of the healthcare workforce is prioritized and individual healthcare workers feel valued and supported so they can sustain their sense of purpose and meaning in their work
  2. Making beneficial progress against persistent mental health and well-being challenges that disadvantage our healthcare workers, and therefore, our healthcare systems and the future of public health.

FSPHP looks forward to being part of meaningful change through collaboration and keeping you updated on the progress of these important initiatives.
