Education Credits
In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by Cine-Med and the Federation of State Physician Health Programs. Cine-Med is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
ACCREDITATION OVERVIEW
Up to 16.5 Hours of Education Credits for Physicians, Nurses, Pharmacists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and Dentists. This activity has been preapproved for the following accreditations:
- AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM for Physicians
- ANCC CE for Nurses
- ACPE CE for Pharmacists
- APA CE for Psychologists
- ASWB ACE for Social Workers
- ADA CERP CE for Dentists
Other Healthcare Professionals All other healthcare professionals will receive a Certificate of Participation. For information on the applicability and acceptance of Certificates of Participation for activities designated for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™, consult your professional licensing board. Certificates: CME/CE credits can be claimed online at the completion of the meeting. A web address will be provided. Participants will be able to download or print a certificate once the form has been submitted.
Activity Goal This activity is designed to address the following core and team competencies: patient care, medical knowledge, employing evidence-based practice, interprofessional collaboration, and communication.
Physicians Cine-Med designates this live activity for a maximum of 16.5 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurses This activity provides 16.5 contact hours for nurses.
Pharmacists This activity has been accredited for 1.65 CEU (16.5 credit hours) of continuing education credit.
Note: Due to CPE Monitor reporting requirements, all pharmacists’ credits must be tracked and submitted into the Cine-Med Credit Tracking page within 30 days of the conference.
Psychologists Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
This activity is approved for 16.5 CE Credits.
Social Workers As a Jointly Accredited Organization, Cine-Med is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. State and provincial regulatory boards have the final authority to determine whether an individual course may be accepted for continuing education credit. Cine-Med maintains responsibility for this course.
Social workers completing this course receive 16.5 intermediate continuing education credits.
Dentists and Oral Health Professionals Cine-Med is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider (January 1–December 31, 2025). ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry.
Cine-Med designates this activity for 16.5 continuing education credits.
