Back in 2013, Dr. Michael Gendel and Dr. Lynn Hankes were part of the writing group of the FSMB Reentry for the Ill Physician Policy. The result was this 2013 policy. 

These two FSMB active policies are currently under review.  Stay tuned for a future update from FSMB on the revision.

The Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB) has released new state-by-state information regarding the “Reentry to Practice Board-by-Board Overview".

FSPHP issued a statement to the California Medical Board during public comment at their quarterly meeting on February 29th recognizing that a confidential authorized physician health program is indispensable in every state.

The International Doctors in Alcoholics Anonymous (IDAA) is currently accepting applications for scholarships for the IDAA 2024 75th Annual Conference in Baltimore, MD, scheduled for July 10-14. Scholarships opened March 1st and are closed once all funds have been awarded.

FSPHP encourages YOU to SUBMIT ABSTRACTS regarding your Physician Health Program/Health Professional Program by April 12, 2024 to the International Conference on Physician Health™ (ICPH 2024) being held in Halifax Oct 17-19, 2024.

They are seeking examples of content that includes development and/or delivery of health and wellness programs and support services, treatment strategies, and innovative wellness solutions, peer support programs or information sharing.
